What can we say? God’s favorite metal band are going to absolutely destroy, maim and kill
everything within their path at this year’s Heavy MTL when they remind us just how heavy
metal can get. While most of their contemporaries (from the early eighties’ initial blast of thrash
metal) have completely lost the plot, gotten long in the tooth, or just simply given up, Slayer just
keeps coming back bigger, faster, stronger and more brutal and lethal than ever. Simply put,
Slayer is unbeatable at the game they pretty much invented. It just doesn’t get any heavier than
this– period!
